Jose Luis Ocejo has worked for the last 20 years as a creative artist in the film and

television industry. His specialty and expertise is in bringing the artistic

vision & technical knowledge necessary in the creation of TV commercials

spots, films, videos and documentaries, seen by millions of viewers. Jose

considers the moving image as a way to combine different visual elements

with the intention to stimulate people imaginations and dreams. His personal

intention is to show the viewers the magnificent world that we live in, hoping

to remind everyone that we have a real responsibility to preserve and care

for our natural world.As a director Jose brings exceptional visual concepts and have the

necessary storytelling skills, creative and artistic ability to accomplish a

particular filming project.

Jose is very knowledgeable about various film and video techniques and

how to best use visuals and sound to present a story and/or information.

He leads his production team in achieving the best possible outcome of a

particular TV spot thus playing an integral commanding part in the team. As a

key player of the team there is a good amount of responsibility that Jose has

to bear in terms of directing successful spots and advertising campaigns,

thus helping the production companies accomplish their over all needs for

their clients.

Jose also serves as a cinematographer on many TV commercials, feature

films, and documentaries by directing the photography and lending his

expertise in the technical areas as well as in the artistic visuals. The

projects have to be photographed and illuminated with the correct set of

technical guide lines as well as meet the individual requirements of the

director in terms of lighting ambience and overall look. The successful

outcome of every project is very much dependent upon Jose’s expertise as a

skilful Director of Photography.
